Engineering Technician – Advanced Electro-Mechanical Assembly
Pay: $47/hr
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (Onsite)
About the Role
We are helping an autonomous ride-hailing company find Engineering Technicians to support daily lab operations and keep materials and builds moving smoothly. You’ll work with a skilled, fast-paced team to help develop and assemble next-generation electronic hardware.
This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
Assist engineers during new product development
Assemble and test electronic hardware (prototypes to short-run builds)
Inspect and review work from other technicians
Perform final product testing following written procedures
Help solve assembly and process issues
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
Follow detailed instructions and processes
Communicate clearly and maintain reliable attendance
Who We’re Looking For
4–6 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience (degree not required if experience fits)
Able to read schematics, technical drawings, and follow detailed procedures
Proficient with standard tools: soldering iron, cutters, crimpers, pin tools, torque tools
Hands-on lab experience with equipment like power supplies, scopes, and signal generators
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and experience in low-volume manufacturing
Nice to have: trade school training, Python basics, PLM/3DX, ERP (SAP/Oracle), startup or rapid-prototype experience
IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD certifications preferred
