JOB OVERVIEW:

We are hiring a Vehicle Technician to support maintenance, diagnostics, and readiness of autonomous fleet vehicles. This role focuses on repairs, inspections, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for testing and deployment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics
• Conduct multi-point inspections and system checks
• Document findings and service records accurately
• Test and validate completed work for quality control
• Support vehicle setup, configuration, and readiness for operations
• Coordinate repairs and escalate issues to engineering teams
• Assist with parts inventory and shop organization
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service area
• Follow all safety and regulatory standards
• Travel locally as needed to support fleet operations

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2–5+ years of automotive technician experience
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair, diagnostics, and tools
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screen
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Experience with CAN systems, wiring, or diagnostics preferred
• Experience in lab or engineering environments is a plus
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred

• Wednesday – Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (2 openings)
• Tuesday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Wednesday – Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Thursday – Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Sunday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Tuesday – Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Thursday – Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Friday – Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
