Job Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the reliability and availability of fleet vehicles. You will also contribute to improving maintenance workflows, repair standards, and data tracking processes, while collaborating closely with operations teams to maintain fleet readiness.

Mobility Fleet Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:
◦ Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on bikes and scooters
◦ Ensure fleet reliability and availability
◦ Improve maintenance workflows and repair standards
◦ Track and document maintenance data and issues
◦ Collaborate with operations teams for fleet readiness
◦ Maintain clean and organized tools/work areas

Daily Responsibilities:
You will manage maintenance efforts across the fleet, ensuring bikes and scooters are in working condition. The role may also involve supporting or guiding other mechanics and contributing to overall operational efficiency at the worksite.

Requirements:
◦ High School Diploma or GED
◦ 1+ year experience as a bicycle/scooter mechanic
◦ Strong written and verbal communication skills
◦ Ability to work nights/weekends if needed
◦ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
◦ Comfortable cycling in urban areas
◦ Able to stand, bend, and move for long periods
◦ Ability to operate a golf cart, scooter, or bike

Work Details:
◦ Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible)
◦ 40 hours/week
◦ Location: New York, US
