Pay: $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (30+ hours per week)

About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced Heavy Machinery Operators to support the safe operation, testing, and readiness of large-scale mining vehicles. In this role, you will operate and inspect 20-ton mining vehicles while assisting engineering teams by providing feedback that helps improve vehicle performance and safety.
This position is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced with heavy equipment. Candidates should be comfortable operating large vehicles for extended periods and open to working with advanced vehicle technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate 20-ton mining vehicles and other fleet equipment
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DVIRs
• Report maintenance issues or performance concerns promptly
• Assist engineering teams by providing written and verbal feedback on vehicle systems
• Maintain high safety and compliance standards at all times
• Travel up to 50% to support field operations and testing as required
• Support additional operational tasks when needed
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable heavy machinery or heavy equipment operating experience
• Comfortable driving and backing large 20-ton vehicles
• Ability to drive for extended periods of time
• Valid CDL Class A is a plus but not required
• Clean driving record (MVR)
• Ability to pass a background check, road test, DOT physical, and drug screening
Driving Record Requirements
• No more than 2 minor moving violations within the past 3 years
• No serious traffic violations within the past 5 years
• No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving drugs or alcohol within the past 10 years
• No preventable accidents within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the past 10 years

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Professional attitude and ability to work well within a team
• Interest in autonomous vehicle or advanced driving technology is a plus
