We are hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead a team of Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs) in a fast-paced fleet operations environment. This is a hands-on, player-coach role where you’ll oversee vehicle testing operations, safety compliance, and team performance.

We are hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead a team of Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs) in a fast-paced fleet operations environment. This is a hands-on, player-coach role where you’ll oversee vehicle testing operations, safety compliance, and team performance.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coach vehicle operators (VOs) during AV testing
- Ensure safety protocols, SOP compliance, and operational excellence
- Support software + hardware testing workflows in autonomous vehicles
- Manage shift schedules, reporting, and team coordination
- Provide performance feedback and real-time coaching
- Act as liaison between operations, contractors, and leadership
Requirements
- 2+ years Autonomous Vehicle Operator (AVO/AVT) experience
- Active AVT permit
- Prior leadership / supervisory experience
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
- Clean driving record
Preferred
- Experience in autonomous vehicle industry / fleet operations
- Background as Team Lead, Instructor, or Supervisor
- Familiarity with Zoox or similar AV systems
