About the Role
As Customer Support – Rider Operations - You’ll act as the human partner to the robot AI, ensuring an excellent customer experience before, during, and after each ride.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing support position where empathy, quick thinking, and clear communication are key. You’ll be trained on cutting-edge technology and tools that support autonomous vehicle operations while helping shape the future of urban mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide live rider support before, during, and after missions via multiple channels (chat, phone, and internal messaging systems).
- Act as the real-time human point of contact for riders, delivering accurate ride information and immediate assistance when needed.
- Troubleshoot and escalate rider issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including safety, fleet, and engineering, to maintain smooth operations.
- Perform data entry and testing tasks to support continuous improvement of tools and processes.
- Use internal tools to monitor, document, and resolve customer interactions efficiently.
- Maintain a safety-focused, inclusive, and professional work environment at all times.
Available Shifts
Candidates should be flexible with scheduling. Current openings include:
- Fri–Tue, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sun–Thu, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wed–Sun, 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- Tue–Sat, 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Training Schedule:
- Day 1 (Orientation): Tuesday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Training Week: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, problem solving, call center, dispatch
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations (e.g., ride disruptions, escalations).
- Experience with de-escalation techniques or emergency response training (such as 911 dispatch or crisis support) is highly valued.
- Team-oriented mindset; comfortable collaborating with diverse departments.
- Flexible and proactive — able to adapt to new tools, systems, and priorities quickly.
- Positive attitude with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
