Location: Austin, TX
Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (onsite, rotating shifts)

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are hiring Remote Assistance Operators to support real-time monitoring and decision-making for autonomous vehicles. This role is critical to ensuring fleet safety and reliability by remotely supervising vehicles and intervening when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor vehicles in real time using Remote Command (RC) interface and camera feeds
• Intervene when necessary using system tools
• Log interventions and observations in real time (Notion, Google Sheets)
• Conduct post-trip reviews and identify anomalies
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions
• Track and report operational metrics
• Maintain clear communication during shift handoffs
• Contribute to edge-case knowledge base and continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in technical support, dispatch, or operations environments
• Strong decision-making skills under pressure
• High attention to detail and strong documentation habits
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, real-time monitoring environment
• Basic understanding of autonomous vehicle systems or willingness to learn
• Experience with geolocation tools or monitoring systems preferred
• Experience with data/log analysis is a plus
• Gaming experience or prior Remote Assistance experience is a plus

FULL WORK SCHEDULE:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Rotating shifts including weekends
• Must be available for both morning and evening shifts
