About the Role
We're hiring experienced Heavy Machinery Operators to support the testing, operation, and maintenance of advanced mining vehicles and autonomous technology.
In this role, you'll safely operate 40-ton articulated haul trucks, excavators, bulldozers, and Ford Raptors while supporting hardware and software testing. You'll perform routine vehicle inspections, identify maintenance concerns, document system performance, and provide valuable feedback to engineering teams to help improve next-generation mining technology.

- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Safely operate articulated haul trucks, excavators, bulldozers, and support vehicles.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
- Identify and report mechanical, hardware, or software concerns.
- Support testing activities while following all safety and operational procedures.
- Provide clear written and verbal feedback to engineering teams.
- Maintain vehicle readiness, cleanliness, and operational safety.
- Travel occasionally (up to 5%) to support testing and field operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of heavy machinery operating experience.
- Experience operating articulated haul trucks, excavators, bulldozers, or similar heavy equipment.
- Comfortable operating and maneuvering large mining vehicles for extended periods.
- Clean driving record with:
- No more than two minor violations within the past 3 years.
- No serious driving violations within the past 5 years.
- No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving convictions within the past 10 years.
- No preventable accidents within the past 3 years.
- No DOT-recordable accidents within the past 10 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and road test.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written procedures and safety protocols.
- Interest in autonomous vehicle technology and willingness to learn new systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Experience supporting vehicle testing, mining operations, or heavy equipment maintenance.
