Location: Atlanta, GA (On-site)
Pay: $25.00/hour + Shift Bonuses
Type: Full-Time Contract

About the Role
We’re hiring Autonomous Vehicle Operators (Safety Drivers) in Atlanta to support testing and operations for a leading self-driving ride-hailing company. As a Level 3 Vehicle Operator, you’ll ensure the safe operation, readiness, and performance of autonomous vehicles while working closely with engineering teams. You’ll also serve as a professional brand ambassador, helping bring autonomous technology safely to the public.

Shifts Available

  • Day Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Night Shift: Mon–Fri, 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM (+2% bonus; +7% on weekends) 

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles in real-world traffic.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Support testing operations, record data, and report any system anomalies.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering and safety teams.
  • Represent the company professionally during all operations.

Requirements

  • Strong driving record with a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Ability to drive for up to 6 hours per day.
  • Basic understanding of technology and vehicle systems.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • No criminal history; must pass background and MVR checks.
  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience preferred.

Week 1-3: Training at Home Base
Address: 976 Brady Ave, NW, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30318

Week 4: Deployed for CCT and Fault Handling Training in Las Vegas, NV, or San Francisco, CA. Duration - 1 week. *All travel expenses will be covered.

After this, trainees will head home to continue their training in Atlanta, GA.

Week 5-7: Continue training at Home Base Atlanta, GA.*

If hired, the shift assigned to you (based on the preferences you selected above) at the offer stage will be your permanent, ongoing schedule. The designated days and times are fixed, and you will be expected to maintain this schedule on a long-term basis. No exceptions will be made.

All Vehicle Operators will train on their respective Night or Day shifts as follows for the first 4–6 weeks.*
