Non-CDL Driver Tester

Expected pay rate $23 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule 9:00AM - 5:00PM, 40 hours per week

We are helping our client hire Driver Testers to maintain vehicle readiness, perform hardware and software tests, and bring a customer service approach to public interactions.

In this role, you will play a critical part of advancing the company's technology with your "safety first" mindset while collecting crucial data.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of driving experience, ideally doing data collection for autonomous vehicles. This role will also require vehicle testing in off-road parks, so experience with off-road driving is required. You have a working knowledge of Linux Command Line, strong oral and written communication skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.


As a Test Driver Tester, you'll:
 

• Support vehicle operations and drive 4-8 hours daily.
• Perform basic software operation to support mission requirements.
• Ensure vehicle roadworthiness and cleanliness are maintained.
• Assist in logistical support for vehicle maintenance, movement, and storage.
• Provide written and verbal feedback to the engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of driving experience
• Ability to drive for extended periods
• May not have any of the following:
  • Moving violations within past year
  • DUI
  • Criminal record
• Some experience with Linux Command Line
• High level of critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
• Previous ADAS/autonomous vehicle testing experience is preferred
