Local | Home Daily | $28.00 per Hour | No Touch Freight

Position Overview
Local CDL A shuttle/spotter driver is needed for an on-site operation in Huntington, IN. This role includes moving trailers at customer request, shuttling between the plant and warehouse, and assisting with fleet trailer movements.

Saturday work is required and rotated between two drivers. Coverage for the other driver’s time off is mandatory. This is a one-truck operation with a shared truck. If the other driver is absent, full coverage is required.

Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – Close (typically 7:00 PM)
Saturday: 6:00 AM – Close (typically 7:00 PM), rotated based on customer needs

Daily coverage is typically 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM split between two drivers.

Pay and Bonuses:
$28.00 per hour
Overtime pay - after 40 hours worked

Bonuses:
SIGN ON BONUS: $500 paid on second paycheck
Referral Bonus: $3,000 total for Bringing your Friend!
$1,000 on second paycheck
$1,000 at 60 days
$1,000 at 120 days

Job Details:

  • Home Time: Local, home daily
  • Freight: No touch
  • Truck Speed: 62 MPH pedal, 65 MPH cruise
  • Equipment: Slip seat

Requirements:

  • CDL Class A
  • Minimum 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience
  • Hazmat endorsement required
  • Tanker endorsement required
