Job Summary

We’re looking for a Flatbed Tow Operator to support an autonomous ride-hailing company. You’ll recover company vehicles from public roads, transport them safely, and help support day-to-day logistics as the company moves toward commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely recover and transport company vehicles on public roads.

• Operate flatbed equipment (winching, skating, snatch blocking, shimmy offload).

• Tow loads between 10,001–26,000 lbs (equipment GVWR is 20,000 lbs).

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.

• Follow DOT regulations.

• Communicate clearly with dispatch and ground support.

• Maintain driving logs and hours-of-service records.

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fuel, oil, tires, minor repairs).

• Work closely with logistics and other teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Requirements

• Valid Class C driver’s license.

• 2+ years towing experience, preferably with flatbeds.

• Clean driving record; must pass background check & drug test.

• DOT physical/medical requirements must be met.

• Able to enter/exit vehicle frequently and lift up to 35 lbs.

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
