Technicians are assigned to one, consistent shift:
- 1st Shift: Mon - Fri, 7AM-3PM
- 2nd Shift: Mon - Fri, 2PM-10PM
- Weekends: Sat & Sun: 10AM-10PM

Requirements
- Required 3+ years automotive technician experience, or equivalent vocational/technical training.
- Proficient diagnosing & repairing mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems (CAN, HV systems, sensors) Comfortable working with EVs and hybrid drive systems. Strong computer skills: diagnostic software, google suite, JIRA, database logging.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with engineers, operations teams.
- Strong safety-first mindset, familiar with OSHA or equivalent procedures .
As an Autonomous Vehicle Technician, you’ll:
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance on AVs, including ADAS sensors and base vehicle systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and computer-based issues using OEM tools and proprietary diagnostic platforms.
- Respond rapidly via Slack to faults or alerts, resolving issues or coordinating vehicle recovery.
- Facilitate hardware/software retrofits and updates, collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Document all work: fault logs, resolutions, parts used, and vehicle downtime.
- Ensure fleet vehicles are show-ready for deployments or demos.
- Enforce health and safety standards, use safe work procedures, and conduct risk assessments.
- Participate in on-site support or remote field assistance.
