Vehicle Operations Specialist – Autonomous Vehicles (San Francisco, CA)

Join Atoms, a robotics and physical AI company founded by Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick, and help build the future of autonomous transportation. This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with autonomous vehicle technology and contribute to the development of next-generation AI systems operating in the real world.

What You'll Do

Drive company vehicles for up to 6 hours per shift while collecting real-world driving data
Execute test scenarios and monitor vehicle system performance
Document observations and provide detailed feedback to engineering teams
Perform vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting
Collaborate closely with engineers to improve autonomous driving systems

What We're Looking For

Valid U.S. Driver's License (held for at least 5 years)
Strong driving record and defensive driving skills
High attention to detail and situational awareness
Comfortable using technology tools and software platforms
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
Interest in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and emerging technology

Must be available to start 6/15/2026

Interview Process

30-minute virtual interview with the Hiring Manager
30-minute on-site driving assessment
